Dr. Judith Ris

Hello! I am Dr. Judith Ris, and I am a graduate of Oregon Health Science University in Portland, OR, and have been a dentist since 1982. Prior to that I was a registered nurse for 12 years. I have had my dental practice in Battle Ground, WA since 2000 and have really enjoyed providing quality dentistry to people of all ages in our beautiful up-to-date facility. Come enjoy relaxing in our cozy reception area complete with fireplace! We also have a playroom just inside for busy little people with books, toys and movies.

In our office we have a cracker-jack team of highly trained and educated professionals to provide our patients with services from routine cleanings and fillings to the more involved periodontal treatments, root canals and extractions. We also love being involved in our cosmetic dentistry services, which range from bleaching and cosmetic porcelain coverings (veneers) to full mouth reconstructions of broken down teeth. Nothing is more rewarding than hearing a happy patient say, "Doctor, it didn’t hurt to get numb or fix my teeth and I totally love my new smile!"

I’m continually taking dental education classes to ensure that I can give my patients the very best in clinical techniques. At Daybreak Dental, we utilize wonderful tools such as intra-oral cameras, air abrasion and computers on which I can do a before and after cosmetic smile makeover as our patients watch, and then take home a printed copy for themselves. You can see how terrific YOUR smile can be! Pretty cool.

Our office is relaxed and patient friendly with a very competent office staff that help our patients to utilize a variety of payment methods allowing them to get their needed dentistry done. Our team is what makes it all happen around here and I feel very fortunate to have such an awesome set of professionals to work with --they allow me to provide the very best in dentistry to our patients.

Bonnie

Hi! My name is Bonnie, and I am Dr. Ris' office manager. I have been in the dental field for 20 years and I enjoy the advancing technology and the opportunity to meet and work with people. I have been here at Daybreak Dental since 2001.

I believe we work together best when we are well informed and are willing to listen and share with others. This has proven to be the key to a good understanding of how to work with insurance companies. This ensures our patients are knowledgeable of their options. We welcome any questions they may have.

I am an outdoor person away from the office and have lived in Battle Ground for 15 years and love the area. I enjoy gardening, music and reading.

LaDonna

I have been a dental assistant for 10 years and enjoy working with our guests, making sure they are comfortable during dental treatment and allowing a seamless, efficient and relaxing visit. I have known Dr. Ris since 2001 and have worked with her on many projects outside of dentistry, but have assisted for her since December 2006. We have spent many hours working on a big volunteer effort, Children’s Dental Health Day, and found providing free dental care to underserved children to be extremely rewarding. Dr. Ris did a very cool smile makeover on me last year that is beautiful and natural. I love it, and folks now notice that I smile much more.

I have lived in Battle Ground for 20 years and Yacolt for 5 years. I am married and have a son, dogs and cats, and I love to do home remodeling, being an artist at heart.

Here at Daybreak Dental, we have a great team of professionals that feel like family to our coworkers as well as our guests. Do come in and join our dental family!

Terri

My name is Terri and I have been a part of the Daybreak Dental team since 2002. My job is to greet you, make you comfortable and hopefully get to know you a little before you receive treatment. I'll do my best to schedule your appointments to fit your needs and to do the paperwork necessary to make sure we keep your files up to date. I first came to this office as a patient myself, and am very proud to be working for and with Dr. Ris and her staff. They are a great dental team to work with.

Outside the office my interests are my family, reading and watching as many NBA games as I can. When the season is over, I go outside and catch up on the yard work!!

Abbey

Hi, my name is Abbey, and I'm Dr. Ris's hygienist. As a newly registered dental hygienist, I am confident in my abilities to provide complete and competent care. I am also fortunate to have the latest education on periodontal disease, and can help you better understand the oral health and needs of your mouth.

Besides cleaning your teeth, I am also licensed to place silver and plastic fillings. All the work that I do I provide in a calm and relaxed environment. It is my goal to help each and every patient in any way and give them the best quality treatment. In my free time I love to draw, paint, sing and play the piano. I'm also a swing dancer and have been taking and teaching lessons for four and a half years. Lastly I am about to buy my first home and look forward to making it my own.
